2015 AGU Fall Meeting

Partnerships for Community Science Networking Reception

Tuesday 15 December, 17:00 – 19:00

San Francisco Marriott Marquis, Salons 12 – 13

Learn about successful community science partnerships through 5-minute lightning talks, and network with others involved and interested in developing solutions that use science. This is a relaxed informal event that brings together city and community leaders, scientists from all career stages, potential sponsors, and TEX’s partner organizations. You can learn what is going on in communities around you, share your successes, join ongoing projects, find collaborators, and get inspiration and advice from experienced community science leaders.

Please Note: The TEX Town Hall Event scheduled for Tuesday, 15 December, from 12:30-1:30 PM has been cancelled

The Thriving Earth Exchange is a two year old program, powered by the American Geophysical Union (AGU), that aims to connect scientists and community leaders, and help them work together to solve challenges related to natural resources, climate change, or natural hazards.
