Cities and Counties are invited to complete the Call for City Challenges form below to be considered for the next round of projects undertaken by the Thriving Earth Exchange (TEX).
Projects are selected on a rolling basis.
Communities of any size from around the world are encouraged to submit a project challenge that focuses on solving a specific, local issue related to natural hazards, natural resources, or climate change. The submission process is meant to be simple, allowing the city to provide more information about local challenges. TEX will review the information and identify if pro-bono Earth science expertise may provide a valuable component of a community-driven solution.

Once You Submit an Application:
Your submission will be reviewed by TEX staff, and we will reply within one week with more information and a proposed timeline for collaboration. We may reach out to request more information, as needed. If your project idea is TEX-ready, we will reach out with proposed next steps. This will include a preliminary conference call with TEX staff to scope the project and define the parameters.
