Kelly McCarthy serves as the Education and Communications Project Manager for Thriving Earth Exchange. She has a background in physics, has spent time in the field both in the Arctic and Antarctica, and has focused on education in the K-12 and Community College arenas for over decade. Kelly brings experience to the team from prior work supporting the Education and Diversity portfolio for the Geosciences Directorate, National Science Foundation as an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow and has been with AGU since 2018, previously serving as the communications manager for the organization’s Centennial.
