With the departure of former city lead, Laura Curtis Hayes, the Brookline team is working with Maria Morelli (Planner, Brookline). The Brookline project will map the impacts of extreme temperature projections on public health, including elderly and economically-disadvantaged. The team has compiled responsibilities of stakeholders, identify key questions and determined key deliverables with a proposed timeline. Given that Dr. Ganguly is set to travel to India this summer on a research trip, he has compiled a list of information and resource support for the project to continue in his absence. Morelli will provide Geographical Information Systems (GIS) data sets available to Brookline. Deliverables from this project will include a methodology, written project narrative, and a presentation that Maria will deliver at the Mayor’s Summit in November.
