Thriving Earth Exchange and ecoAmerica partner to support community-led projects, climate leadership across the U.S.

Category: Uncategorized

AGU’s Thriving Earth Exchange and ecoAmerica are thrilled to announce a new partnership to support projects that help communities respond and adapt to the impact of climate change on public health, the environment and infrastructure.

Thriving Earth Exchange connects communities with scientists and technical experts to help them explore priorities related to natural resources, natural hazards, climate adaptation and resilience, and much more. Past projects have focused on local concerns ranging from water quality monitoring to wildfire safety.

ecoAmerica works directly with community leaders and organizations to build institutional leadership and public support for climate solutions in the United States. The partnership will expand support for communities from ecoAmerica’s Blessed Tomorrow, Climate for Health and Path to Positive program networks.

In addition, ecoAmerica and Thriving Earth Exchange will encourage collaboration between their respective networks, including sharing resources and opportunities with one another. The organizations will also promote and participate in workshops, convenings and other events to invite participation in each other’s programs and share successes from their partnership.
